M/s Penta Designers, Pune had been associating with us in various new projects towards concept finalization, detailed engineering at planning stage as well as during installation of the projects. Their inputs in the initial concept stage have been very helpful for AL, to optimize the project with limited resources.

We engaged the services of M/s Penta Engineers, Pune in the year 2004 for the Layout engineering work of the multiple Gear Box assembly lines at our Bhandara Plant. In addition to the layout engineering work, they were also entrusted with the design of special purpose assembly equipments and material handling systems. M/s Penta carried out this assignment very successfully gaining notable appreciation within Ashok Leyland and also from our Germany based collaborators.

Further we utilized their services for designing new Engine assembly line at our Ennore Plant wherein optimum material handling and component feeding systems have been implemented.

Subsequently we utilized their services for the simulation of our Bus Manufacturing Facilities in India and in the Middle East, during the planning stage in 2008. The simulation enabled identification of critical/constraint areas for review.

We are now engaging the services of M/s Penta on a regular basis for many of our assembly and Body Shop related Manufacturing Engineering services.

We have found M/s Penta to be very innovative and committed, often going beyond their defined scope to achieve the desired results. Their design engineering facility at Pune should enable them provide excellent Manufacturing engineering services to Automotive and other organizations.
